12 Month Warranty
1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing Tier 1. This warranty document outlines the terms and conditions of your warranty, ensuring compliance with UK consumer law, BS 8887 standards, and best practices for IT Asset Disposition (ITAD).
2. Warranty Details
Your warranty starts on the day you receive your order and lasts for 12 months from this date unless otherwise stated.
• eBay purchases have a 3-month warranty.
If you have a faulty item and wish to log a warranty claim, please contact Tier1 as follows:

If you can please include the order number or invoice number, as well as the serial number of your device and a brief description of the fault. We will then review your issue and contact you about the next steps within 4 working hours.
3. What your warranty covers
• Full breakdown support for hardware faults caused by technical defects
• All parts and labour
• Full replacement if we can’t repair your item. Any replacement item will be of the same or better specification and the same or better condition as the item you return. The remainder of your warranty period will be transferred to the replacement device with a minimum of 90 days warranty cover included
• Free return delivery and recycling if we need to replace your item
4. What is not covered
• Software issues (Problems caused by viruses, malware, or third-party software installations)
• Accidental damage (Drops, spills, cracks, or any physical damage caused by mishandling) • Cosmetic wear and tear (Scratches, dents, faded keys, or worn-out surfaces that do not affect functionality.
• Display issues from pressure or impact (cracks, dead pixels, or screen damage caused by pressure, impact, or misuse)
• Data loss or corruption (loss of personal data or software due to hardware failure or user error)
• Unauthorised repairs or modifications (Any damage or issues resulting from repairs or upgrades not performed by the company or its authorised partners)
• Battery degradation (this is considered a consumable item)
• Accessories/upgrades not supplied by Tier1
• Negligence or misuse
The exclusions listed above do not impact your standard rights within 14 days of purchase to return and request a refund as a consumer.
