How to make a claim
If you have an issue with a device that you have purchased from us, please contact us straight away and we will guide you through the process. In some cases, we might be able to assist you remotely. A member of our Tech Support Team can connect to your device and diagnose and potentially fix the issue for you.
If we are unable to fix the device remotely, we will provide you with the details to return your device to us.
Tier 1 Warranty
The refurbished equipment that we sell is covered by our warranty, the duration of the warranty will depend on the unit you have purchased and any options you have added. Our standard warranty for all models is twelve months from date of receipt (unless your online order clearly states a longer period).
Please note, this is a UK based warranty. If you are outside of the UK and need to return an order, the cost of returning the item will fall with the buyer; this includes any Import/Customs Duty charges. If a repair or replacement is required, these can only be shipped to a UK address.
The warranty covers the hardware of the unit and does not include software or consumables such as ink or batteries. The warranty does not cover any problems which arise through misuse or accidental damage.
If you have a problem please contact us as soon as possible with your order number (or the email address you used to order if you can’t find it) and/or the Serial Number of the unit (found on the underside of laptops and on the side of PCs). We are able to resolve many problems over the phone, or by remotely accessing your computer, please just contact us on 0161 777 1007 or via email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
In some cases where original manufacturer’s warranty exists it may be resolvable with them, we will of course assist you with any information you may require and will contact them on your behalf.
In the first fourteen days (Dead on Arrival DOA period) we will collect the unit from you via courier. After this period the cost of returning any item will fall to the buyer. If you are not able to send it back yourself we offer a collection service for £12 (which is the cost of the collection service from our courier). In all cases you must ensure that your unit is packaged safely.
All units will be returned to you free of charge.
Tier 1 Warranty Process
- Unit is sent/collected and sent back to Tier 1 (day 1*)
- Unit is received at Tier 1 (day 2*) and confirmed as faulty
- Replacement order prepared (if the same unit isn't available a substitute will be offered)
- Replacement is sent back to you with our courier on a next business day service (day 3-5*)
*Please note days are given to set your expectation; it is entirely possible we will turn around your warranty repair within a few working days.

In the event we are not able to repair any fault we will replace your machine with the same or higher specification.
Please note, replacement orders will carry on from the original existing warranty. The warranty does not renew with replacement orders.
